Great White North Conducts Dragon Boat Camp - April 12 - 17th in Melbourne, FL
It would be both fun and awesome to form a team of 12 people to attend this camp. I already have commitments from three paddlers, plus me. Won't you join us?
The more we practice together, the stronger we are!The camp features: • New daily schedule based on camper feedback • Twice daily dragon boat training sessions • Pilates, stretching and core conditioning sessions • Video analysis of your performance (twice weekly) • Individual help (twice weekly) • Daily information and education sessions • Camp dri-fit top and practice video • Final day regatta and BBQ. As you can see, it is a great opportunity for us to form a cohesive team that can be strong - whether we're paddling recreational or for a race.
The cost of the camp is $425 / paddler. GWN asks that we send one check for the team registration. Therefore, if you are interested in attending, please let me know. You can then make a check payable to me for your registration fees and I will, in turn, write a check to GWN for the team.
Please let me know by February 12 if you are able to join us.Accommodations are available at The Pines Resort, 10 Palmer Road, Indian Harbor Beach. You can make your individual accommodation arrangements at www.floridapinesresort.com or by calling 888-773-2005.
GWN suggests arriving on Sunday before the camp (we'll start bright and early on Monday morning) and depart the Sunday after camp (as we'll be training and celebrating late into Saturday). Once I receive commitments, we can also discuss carpooling to Melbourne.I already know some folks will have to depart Friday evening.I hope you'll join our team! I look forward to hearing from you!
