We're pleased to announce that the Chinese American Association of Central Florida (CAACF) is holding a Dragon Boat Festival at the Orlando Rowing Club—Dragon Boat Club (ORC-DBC)!
Date: Sunday, May 22 (no practices at the club this day)Time: 9:30 am—2 pm
Place: Lake Fairview Park, 2200 Lee Road, Orlando, FL 32810
Cost: $15 (as a paddler, including lunch)
$10 (as a spectator, including lunch)Schedule includes games, cultural activities and, of course, racing!
This a perfect event for people who might not have much paddling experience, if any, but want to give dragon boating a try. No experience necessary.
