PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR SPRING TOURNAMENT
It’s time to start thinking about spring! There’s no better way to welcome a season of new growth and opportunities than by grabbing your golf clubs and meeting your friends (or making new ones) at Isleworth Country Club, one of the most elite golf venues in the world.
This famous course opens its doors exclusively for Women Playing For T.I.M.E, and as a women-only event, the golf tournament offers a teaching clinic, breakfast, lunch, driving range, golf, fore-caddies, drinks, tee gift, and networking while supporting a cause affecting so many – cancer.
Proceeds from the tournament support breast cancer research for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.
Registration is now open as an individual player or team in either scramble or stroke format. In addition to the opportunity to play golf at one of the most prestigious golf courses in the world, you will enjoy a teaching clinic given by Mary Bryan, former LPGA star, current player on the senior LPGA tour and Assistant Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Central Florida. Mary has worked in the past as top golf announcer for NBC, ABC, ESPN, and the Golf Channel and is presently announcing for CBS.
This is an event you do not want to miss. Players are encouraged to wear pink! Women Playing For T.I.M.E. works in partnership withM.D. Anderson – Orlando to defeat cancer as it affects women and their families and friends. For further information on this event or to inquire about volunteer or sponsorship opportunities, please contact Lynda Canatay at 321.841.2272 or lynda.canatay@orlandohealth.com.
The Garden of Hope
The second annual Garden of Hope will once again be featured as the signature icon for the Isleworth Tournament. Flower pots and daisies were generously donated by Maura Tanner at Organized Jungle. These beautiful flower pots can be purchased in advance by anyone who wants to recognize a special person who has been touched by cancer.
All flower pots are personalized and will be on display on the day of the event. The pots will be designed and hand-painted by WPFT volunteer and committee member, Sue Rideout.
