20 Years of WPFT Tennis This year, Women Playing For T.I.M.E.
Tennis will celebrate its 20th anniversary and the theme is 20 sites for 20 years. The goal is to host 20 WPFT tennis events throughout September (GYN Cancer Awareness month) and October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month). In honor of this milestone, USTA Florida is partnering with WPFT during the months of September and October to promote their PINK Out campaign and offers 2 options to players. Option 1) USTA Florida will donate $10 to WPFT for each new or renewal membership during these months (Note: the special code PINK required at time of registration). Option 2) A player participating in one of the WPFT designated tournaments can opt to receive a long sleeve pink shirt or designate a $10 donation from USTA to WPFT if they renew or join the USTA at the tournament. Brighton Collectibles Power of Pink Breakfast - September 28
Brighton Collectibles at The Mall at Millenia will hold their annual Power of Pink Breakfast to kick-off their Power of Pink campaign on Saturday, September 28. Everyone is welcome to come at 8:30 am for light refreshments, a short program, and unveiling of this year's signature jewelry piece which $10 from each bracelet sold will come back to MD Anderson – Orlando (this applies only the The Mall at Millenia store). This year's proceeds from the promotion will benefit both WPFT and Warriors on Water, our local breast cancer survivor dragon boat team. Saks Fifth Avenue Limited Edition Key to the Cure Breast Cancer T-shirt
Saks Fifth Avenue, Florida Mall location, has designated WPFT as their charitable beneficiary for their annual Key to the Cure Breast Cancer T-shirt sales. The limited edition shirt retails for $35. If purchased at Florida Mall store, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to MDACCO through WPFT. T-shirts debut October 1st and sell out fast. Don't delay -- supplies are limited!
Uno Chicago Grill
During the month of October, three of Uno Chicago Grill’s restaurant locations; International Drive, Winter Garden and Lake Buena Vista, will donate 20% of the guest check to MD Anderson – Orlando and WPFT when a special voucher is presented at check out. They will also offer the same donation for office catering so keep them in mind for business meetings. Their menu includes a delicious gluten-free pizza for those on a restrictive diet. Chick-fil-A One Sip at a T.I.M.E.
During the month of October, Chick-fil-A Orange Avenue store will partner with WPFT and donate .75 for each LARGE strawberry milkshake sold. MD Anderson – Orlando has been chosen to be their Project Give October charity. Click here for the flyer.

Walk On Water Walk On Water’s Winter Park Village and Colonial Town Park Lake Mary stores will partner with WPFT and donate $5 from each Brighton bracelet sold during the month of Pink October. Check out the flyer for more information.
Pink Heals Fire Trucks - October 1
The 2013 Pink Heals Tour will stop in Orlando on October 1st just in time to kick off Pink October. Two trucks will be on Orlando Health campus, one at MDACCO and one at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Stop by in the morning and sign the truck as it makes its way to its next destination and receive a Chick-fil-A coupon (limited supply available). View the press release for more information. Box Office Hair College Park – Pinktober – October 1
Box Office Hair Salon located at 2305 Edgewater Drive in Orlando will Kick of Pink October with a night of PINK fun featuring a candy bar, the Hope Fairy, silent auction, raffles and of course hair (stylists on hand for PINK highlights and clip-Ins). Harmony Golf Preserve WPFT Event - October 6
Harmony Golf Preserve will be hosting its first WPFT golf event on October 6th. Located in the city of Harmony, FL, this Johnny Miller signature designed course built on a 260 acre wildlife preserve will host a fun co-ed event open to the golfing community. Playing Golf For T.I.M.E. Co-Ed Tournament – October 7
The 4th Annual Playing Golf For T.I.M.E. Tournament will be hosted by the Golden Bear Club at Keene’s Pointe, on October 7th. Choose to play the Scramble (no handicap) or Net-Best-Ball (handicap required) format. A 50/50 Ball Drop will take place pre-tournament. Dig For A Cure – October 8
Bishop Moore Catholic High School ladies volleyball will host a “Pink Dig” against Winter Park High School on October 8th. Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams will play beginning at 5pm. There will be a presentation ceremony at 7pm before the Varsity game.
Think Pink Fun Run - October 12
Join Dr. P. Phillips YMCA for the 5K Run/Walk open to the community on Saturday, October 12. This annual event unites the community to show their support for those who have been affected with breast cancer. Event also includes Kids Fun Run. Playing the Game In Their Name – October 17
Circle Christian School will host their 3rd Annual Breast Cancer volleyball event "Playing the Game in their Name" on October 17th. They will play against Trinity Prep at 6pm at Willow Creek Church Gymnasium, 4725 East Lake Drive, Winter Springs, 32708. All funds raised will support WPFT and MDACCO.
Saks Fifth Avenue Key to the Cure Shopping Weekend - October 17 to 20
Saks Fifth Avenue's annual charity shopping weekend, Key to the Cure, will take place Thursday through Sunday, October 17 to 20. During this shopping weekend, 2% of participating vendor sales at the Florida Mall location will be donated to MDACCO through WPFT.
Pink Ribbon Bagels MDACCO Day - October 18
Panera Bread will once again partner with MDACCO during their Pink Ribbon Bagel campaign. During the month of October, 25 cents from each pink ribbon bagel sold will come back to MDACCO. But on October 18th, 100% of each pink ribbon bagel will be donated to MDACCO. The flyers and pre-order forms for the offices are available here.
Gator's Dockside Dr. Phillips - October 24
Gator's Dockside Dr. Phillips location will partner with MDACCO on October 24th and donate 10% of their dinner proceeds on October 24th when patrons drop their receipt in the bucket at the hostess stand. Click here for the voucher.
Ember’s Fight Like a Girl Ladies Night – October 26
Ember Night Club, located 42 E. Central Blvd, Orlando 32803 will be hosting their annual pink ladies night. With a $2 donation at the door, ladies will receive a commemorative pink wrist band, $5 Think Pink drink along with their regular ladies night specials. WPFT Fall Invitational Golf Tournament Presented by Hilton Worldwide and Hilton Grand Vacations - October 28
The WPFT Fall Invitational Golf Tournament presented by Hilton Worldwide and Hilton Grand Vacations will take place on Monday, October 28th and hosted at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes.
