Donate Your Time

In addition to sponsorship of our existing events, there are many ways to involve your employees, civic or social organizations with the important mission of WPFT. Uniquely appealing to many community volunteers is that the money raised in this community stays here to help the women affected with cancer in Central Florida. Below are a few examples, but the opportunities are endless.

Corporate Partnerships

Forming corporate partnerships with WPFT is an excellent way for corporations to give back to the community. WPFT is also proud to be named the charitable beneficiary for existing corporate and community events and initiatives. Some examples of WPFT ongoing partnerships in the community are with Panera Bread’s Pink Ribbon Bagels promotion, Brighton Collectibles’ Power of Pink promotion, Orlando Rowing Club’s Masters Regatta, OARS Masters Regatta, Bloomingdale’s Walk For T.I.M.E., Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival, Tavistock Cup, Walgreen's and many more.

Host a Satellite Golf or Tennis Tournament

Host a breast cancer charity golf or tennis tournament at your home club and donate the proceeds to WPFT. We can provide you with a guidelines brochure to aid you in organizing a successful tournament, as Orange Tree Golf Club and The Golden Bear Club at Keene’s Pointe Country Club have done. These are two golf communities that have rallied around their chairman and membership to create two very successful golf tournaments.

Sponsor a Flag

Sponsor a personalized flag “In Celebration Of,” “In Support Of ” or “In Memory Of ” a loved one to represent the men and women in our lives who have been touched by cancer. These flags are displayed at the Two-Day WPFT Tournament held at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in October.

Host a Fundraising Event

Hold a fundraiser to benefit breast cancer research for WPFT and MD Anderson – Orlando. Simply contact the WPFT office for their fundraising form and fill out and submit to the committee for approval. Examples of successful fundraising events in the past are in-store promotions, bingo night, Bunco night, pink parties, bridge tournaments, walks, luncheons, gift wrapping tables and school functions.

Social Community/Website

Visit our website, wpft.org, to keep abreast of the many events going on for WPFT. Join our social community; it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Join our Call to Action Volunteer List, available online, to be placed on the email distribution list when we need volunteers. *Fundraising events are not limited to the month of October. They can be held anytime of the year. For more information on how to host an event or become a volunteer, please contact the WPFT office at 321.841.2272.
